The Clarke Square Neighborhood Initiative is back in action! And what better way to celebrate than with a community gathering?!

This summer, our doors will be open for you to enjoy a leisure space. Bring your kids, your cooler, and have a picnic as we come together. This effort aims not only to unite the community but also to challenge the mindset that we must work like machines. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our community and reframe leisure time, understanding that leisure is not laziness but a well-deserved reward for our hard work—especially as immigrants.

So, bring your kids, bring a beverage of your choice, and join us!

While we do not prohibit alcohol, we encourage safe and conscious consumption.

JULY 6TH: Padres e Hijos en Acción (see full schedule)

When was the last time you had quality time with your kids, played games, and had some non-technological fun? We want to open this series by fostering the purest love relationships and creating moments worth remembering. Join us for a day filled with activities designed to strengthen family bonds and creativity.

JULY 20TH: Carpe Diem, Carpe Noctem (see full schedule)

A day focused on mental health, but one where we will emphasize joy! Let’s explore daily therapeutic methods that can help you decompress. Meditate together, take a phone-free hour to read a book, listen to that album you haven't gotten to yet, draw, or just be present in the moment!

AUGUST 3RD: Fiesta Olímpica (see full schedule)

Come watch the Olympics with us. It’s that simple—just like the old days at our tías’ houses! Enjoy the excitement and a good time as we cheer on the athletes together.

 AUGUST 17TH: Move your Body!

Join us for a Bike Ride in Clarke Square Neighborhood with Oak Leaf Family and Cesar Chavez BID.

AUGUST 31ST: Hasta la vista, baby

This is not a goodbye, it’s a see-you-later! Join us as we express our gratitude for being such wonderful neighbors and friends. Let’s celebrate our community and the bonds we’ve built together.
